As we reflect on the incredible work we’ve accomplished over the past year, we’re excited to share a big change with you — one that marks the beginning of a new chapter for our organization. After much thought and conversation, we’re pleased to announce that the Coalition for Nonprofit Housing and Economic Development (CNHED) is now simply The Coalition.

CNHED is thrilled to have reintroduced our traditional in-person advocacy engagement for the FY2025 budget season.

The Coalition for Nonprofit Housing & Economic Development (CNHED) is excited to share our 2023 Impact Report, which outlines not only our accomplishments throughout the year but also forecasts our future work in 2023.

For the second year in a row, CNHED is partnering with Wells Fargo and WHUR to create “Surprise and Delight” pop-ups at diverse small business locations across DC.

CNHED is challenging the community to join us for our District-wide Small Business: The Heart of DC Scavenger Hunt. Residents will have an opportunity to sign-up to participate in a scavenger hunt and safely venture out and explore our commercial corridors.
