Each year, The Coalition works with members and partners to develop a set of budget priorities that advance equitable economic opportunity across the District. Our FY2027 recommendations have now been submitted to the Mayor and the DC Council, and we invite you to join us for an in-person briefing with fellow members.
During this session, Coalition staff will walk through our FY2027 District budget recommendations and the funding levels proposed to support affordable housing, community development, small business growth, and workforce opportunity. We will also share insights on the current budget landscape and what to expect as the District’s budget process moves forward.
This convening is an opportunity for members to hear directly from our policy and advocacy team, ask questions, and connect with peers across the community economic development field. It will also help prepare members for the next phase of budget advocacy and engagement with District leaders.
