Students in the EnergyScore® BPI Building Analyst certification training will learn how to perform comprehensive, whole-home assessments, identify problems at their root cause, and prescribe and prioritize solutions based on building science. The Building Analyst certification verifies the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to conduct comprehensive building performance audits, including assessing whole-building ventilation, blower door testing, measuring airflow, combustion safety testing, thermal boundaries, pressure boundaries, moisture issues, and testing/data collection.
Field training would also be offered hands-on in a Maryland house or a District location if an acceptable property is found from a student or DCSEU contact.
