Meet Kamilla đź‘‹
Kamilla is currently serving as a VISTA Volunteer with Medici Road, a Coalition member organization.
In her role, she recently co-led a town hall for more than 35 sub-recipient applicants participating in Medici Road’s federal grant program, Renew America’s Nonprofits. This initiative supports nonprofit organizations in completing energy efficiency upgrades to their buildings. Kamilla also facilitated ongoing coordination meetings with key stakeholders, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy and the program’s energy contractor. These regular touchpoints helped ensure the project remained aligned with compliance requirements and stayed on track for the current budget period.
Beyond her grant-related work, Kamilla has strengthened relationships between Medici Road and stakeholders at a local residential complex. She developed engagement recommendations focused on outreach strategies, communication tools, and partnership models designed to deepen collaboration and improve long-term connections.
After completing her VISTA service, Kamilla plans to pursue her goal of moving to Japan to teach English through the JET Program, a government-sponsored initiative focused on grassroots cultural exchange.
