In addition to his budgetary responsibilities, Kevin also provides support to his colleagues at Mi Casa. He recently developed an internal document that distills the findings of The Coalition (formerly CNHED) study on the impacts and challenges of the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA) in the District. The summary took the report (which is over 100 pages) and summarized and created key reference points for the data so that the (Mi Casa) Housing Development team members could quickly reference and remind themselves of the parts of the report that are relevant to them. This report summary will also be used to inform internal and external training and to make the training more efficient.
After completing his year with VISTA, Kevin intends to pursue a law degree.
