Zoë has been working with Capital Clubhouse for close to a year now, and she has had the chance to work on some great projects recently. She had the opportunity to work closely with two groups of undergraduate students from two local universities. This allowed Zoë to work with them to establish marketing templates and training materials to use with the Clubhouse members to increase their knowledge of social media and internet marketing. Zoë led the efforts for one of the student groups, a group from American University, to conduct a needs assessment for Capital Clubhouse as part of their capstone project. The hope is that this needs assessment will help the Clubhouse increase its membership each month while maintaining quality in its work. Zoë particularly enjoyed the work she did with AU students on this project.
Zoë has also continued to work on other projects related to her VAD. She built capacity with the Capital Clubhouse board recently by training them to better use their donor management system, and she has been supporting the production and distribution of the organization’s quarterly newsletter.
After her service, Zoë plans to find a job that allows her to continue to do work she is passionate about, which benefits communities in DC.
